About NVIC

General
The Netherlands-Flemish Institute in Cairo (the NVIC) was founded in 1971. Eight universities in the Netherlands and Flanders participate in the institute with an aim to stimulating internationalisation of their teaching and research activities in the Middle East.

The staff of the NVIC consists of 15 regular members and several freelancers.

Contact /Opening Hours
The NVIC is open for the public from Sunday through Thursday from 9 am till 2 pm. The opening hours of the library are on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday from 9 am till 7 pm, on Tuesday and Thursday from 9 am till 2 pm and on Friday from 10 am till 3 pm.
