- The collection consists of publications in Arabic and European languages. The library specializes in the following subjects: Arabic and Islamic studies (with special focus on Egypt in all its aspects), Egyptology/Archaeology (including the legacy of Professor Emery), Coptic studies, Papyrology and Graeco-Roman Egypt. The library contains a considerable collection of periodicals as well as Egyptian daily and monthly newspapers and magazines.
There are no borrowing facilities. A photocopy service is provided. For a membership one passport photograph and a copy of an I.D. are required.
